Cathay Pacific has expanded its All Asia Pass for 2010 to include 18 destinations in China for one flat fee. Compare this to last year’s package, when a stop in certain cities required a $300 add-on fee, and you’re looking at significant savings.
The 18 Chinese cities include popular stops such as Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Dalian. Other Asian cities include Bali, Bangkok, Cebu, Hanoi, Penang, Phnom Penh, and Phuket.
The All Asia Pass starts from $1,599 plus taxes and fees of up to $180 per person. The basic package includes round-trip economy class airfare from Los Angeles, New York’s JFK, or San Francisco to Hong Kong onboard Cathay Pacific, plus 21 days of consecutive travel to two cities plus Hong Kong, departing Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays from February 2 to May 17 or from August 17 to December 1. All travel must be completed by December 7, 2010.
Travel from other cities in the United States is available for an additional charge as an extension of the consecutive travel period up to 90 days. Eight cities in India and the Middle East are also available for $300 each.
